My journey started last May, when I saw that I weighed 270lbs...the most I've ever weighed in my life.
My blood pressure was scary high. Then, my dad had a mini stroke, which scared the hell out of me. I think that was a wake up call for the whole fam. So, I decided I needed to do something and do something quick before I ended up a stroke victim at a young age.
Since May 2011, I've been working hard to lose the weight. It's been coming off SLOWLY, but surely. I wish there was an "Easy" button, but there isn't. I've got to keep working to lose this weight and get in shape. It's not easy, but in the end, it'll be worth it.
This year, I joined the Biggest Loser Abu Dhabi group. And I LOVE it! I was already 10lbs smaller from May, 2011 when I joined. I'm excited! Every Thursday is our weigh-in. On this page, I'll keep track of my progress.
